Kažkas dažosi, puošiasi ir ruošiasi linksminimuisi tarp vaiduoklių, vampyrų, baubų, o kažkas tiesiog ignoruoja šią šventę. Kad ir kaip ten bebūtų, šiandien aš savo nagų ketinu jums parodyti žymųjį Džeką Skelingtoną, Helovyno miestelio karalių, iš Timo Burtono miuziklo "Košmaras prieš Kalėdas". Žiūrim? :)

Happy Halloween!

Probably a part of people are now putting on some fancy /scary clothes, applying makeup and getting ready for the party with other ghosts, vampires or monsters, while the other are simply ignoring it. Either way, today I am showing you a  nail art inspired by Jack Skellington aka king of Halloweentown from Tim Burton's musicale "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Shall we start? :)

Tam kad sukurčiau Džeką :) pasitelkiau mažą gudrybę - nupiešiau viską ant nagų štampuko, o tik paskui perkėliau paveiksliuką ant nago ir padengiau top coat'u.


To create this image I used a transfer technique - I drew Jack's portrait on a nail stapm and only after it was moved on the nail and sealed with a top coat.

Escape to Poland - Wibo Leather Effect Polish

Neseniai iš trumpučio savaitgalinio pabėgimo į Lenkija parsivežiau kaimynų prekinio ženklo Wibo odos efekto laką ir metalą (apkaustus ar pan.) imituojačius lipdukus. Dėja, kokybė nuvylė - lakas lėtokai žiuvo, o papuošimai nesilaikė dėl kažkokios klijus primenančios gličios masės, kuri nei klijavo, nei leido lakui užfiksuoti detalę. Na, o rezultatą vertinkite pačios :)

During my short escape to Poland I managed to sneak into cosmetic shop and buy a leather effect nail polish and stickers (yes, stickers not studs) made by the local company called Wibo. I must admit I was disappointed - the polish drying time was the way too long and the stickers had a horrible sticky base which prevented from actually sticking to the nail polish. However, photos below for your verdict :)

Sensationail - Sugar Plum Gel Polish

Prieš kurį laiką Eurokos parduotuvėje mano akis užkliuvo už Sensationail gelinio nagų lakų. Ir taip jau nutiko, kad Sugar Plum mėnesiuką stovėjo lentynoje laukdamas savo eilės, tad pažiūrėkim į jį iš arčiau:)

A while ago I noticed Sensationail Gel Polish in a local cosmetic store called Eurokos. And I must admin that it was placed on my shelf a month (or so) ago and since then it has been standing there nagging me and waiting for its turn to be swatched, so lets take a look :)

Lakas lengvai dengia nagą, ypač patogus šepetėlis. Nežinau, ar spalva primena cukruotą slyvą, nes turi daugiau rožinio atspalvio, o galbūt aš tiesiog valgau ne tos rūšies slyvas? :))

The application was smooth and I really like the brush. However, I'm not quite sure if the color actually reminds me of the plum as it looks more purplish pink or maybe it's just me who eats a different sort of plums? :)
